I hired VK restore and rebuild to repair peeling ceilings, replace all baseboard and trim in the whole house, replace old laminate flooring with hardwood and paint whole interior. He ran into a scheduling conflict with one of his skilled subs and was super honest. A very refreshing approach to be honest in this day and age of unreliable contractors. I was so impressed with Viktor's honesty I added more work installing windows and a french door where there was a window. Viktor was hands on the window and door install which i appreciated and did the siding patching himself and it looks great. He also caulked the gaps at the bottom of the baseboard becaue I have eneven floors in my 60 year old house and I hate shoe base. You cant even tell, it looks so good. Caulking seems like a small thing but in this application it take high level of attention to detail. I call him the caulking whisperer. Viktor and crew were on site for 3 weeks and were on time every day, super polite, and take pride in their work. Communication was excellent with regular updates.i noticed he chose high quality supplies that he provided such as exterior caulk. Viktor and his team came out multiple times over the course of a few weeks and helped address the problems as they continued springing up. When we discovered mold in several spots, they did demo and remediation acting with professionalism and patience. I never felt rushed to make any decisions and Viktor was more than generous with his time talking me through various options and requirements for ensuring my home remained safe and healthy. The team's respectful and focused demeanor gave me confidence that the situation was under control and being handled correctly and without cutting corners. Viktor was always responsive to my calls and texts to help me understand what was going on with my home. When in a situation like this I feel communication skills are equally as important as the work being performed and this team did great at both. They also helped me navigate problems and dependancies related to other trades who were also coming and going from my restoration project. My options were to primer, texture, repaint, etc (I would have to take out a second mortgage) or go with Vik. They came in and redid all the ugly spots for a fraction of the headache! Thank you! I had a lot of complicated drywall repairs and also had a leak while doing remodel and Viktor helped me fix and repair everything! Silver lining, VK Restore and Rebuild did an amazing job repairing the entire room, making it even more beautiful than the original. They took great care to clean as they went to ensure or home wasn’t covered in dust, during the repairs. This talented team was beyond professional, courteous and reasonably priced. They were able to fit us into their schedule to ensure our repairs were completed timely, minimizing any further inconvenience.
